The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Bottle @ the London Underground.Pours a light amber color with a large head. Aroma is sweet, candies and yeast notes. Sweet, rich flavor, complex with lots of yeast esthers, apricots. Very drinkable and very tasty, and a sweet bottle to use for some homebrew!

Bottle shared with my brother. He got the clean top half, I got the sediment bottom. Ha! Pours golden with a big fluffy head. Very estery, tastes of apricot, apple, some yeast (from the sediment). Tastes like a belgian!

First half of bottle poured clear. Great white head with no lacing. Second half was very unappealing with such heavy sediment (unfiltered). Aroma and mouth feel true to the style. Smooth finish, good drinkablility.

Poured from bottle into snifter. Nice clear, golden body with light, foamy head. Nice aroma of yeast and alcohol with floral and citrus hints. Taste is light and sweet yet the carbonation leaves a dry but clean and fizzy finish on the tongue. Not my style but really nice overall and a cool bottle to boot.

Finally rating this one. Sweet yeast aroma, clear golden body with thin, lacing head. Starts off Crisp and dry yet overall a very sweet taste, licorice finish... Very complex, tasty beer

Bottle at the squealing pig in Boston. Pours a hazy gold with short lived fizzy white cap. The aroma is sweet, Belgian candy sugar, cloves, hints of lemon & tropical fruit, yeast. The flavor is sweet, candy sugar, lots of fruit esters, pineapple, light alcohol sweetness in the finish. Foamy, creamy mouth feel. A decent brew, i think i was expecting more though.

Bottiglia da 33 comprata da Squillari; color oro, schiuma poco persistente, aroma lievitoso, sapore dolce e sbilanciato verso l’alcol; non mi è piaciuta un granchè, spero che il lavandino l’abbia apprezzata più di me

From a tap it pours cloudy amber and then the aroma is of dried fruits and bubble gum. The taste is raisins and alcohol.
