The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Golden colour with a large foamy white head. Strong citrus (lemons) aroma perhaps a bit of herbs or something, also a little soapy. Flavour is sweet and sour and very lemony (almost like lemonade) - nice but maybe a bit sweet for me.

Always when I drink this beer I have a good feeling. This beer is so perfect by its style. The cream is in good quantities and keep "working" with the carbonation. The taste is very sweet, caramel and a little alcoholic. But the yeast bring a taste so good of citrus and floral, and a little of clove and banana. The yeast is the body of this beer, but, this beer is so balanced that everything fills so right that you can’t say that have something more intense. So good, I really like this beer!

A golden beer with a medium white head. Taste is like fruit, citrus, yeast and some light bitter. Aftertaste is bitter, with a long duration.

I really like the clay looking effect of the bottle, had a heavy bread, straw aroma, pours with a clear light yellow appearance with a very full head which lasted well, had a mild carbonation with a sticky texture, I found this to be a very good but very strong Wit Beer.

Bottle, 330ml. A golden beer with a medium size foamy head. It has a somewhat fruity aroma with apples, citrics and maybe green grapes. Taste is bitter with a hoppy character. There is some carbonation and a considerable amount of astringency. Aftertaste is sweet and reminds me a lot of the fruits I found in the aroma. Very refreshing, yet strong. A world class beer indeed.

Aroma is apple, raisins and apple. Some light wild yeast and candy sugar here but not overly pronounced. Appearance is a white lace head that retains fairly well.

Pours yellow to golden, super bubbly visual texture, soapy-thick top, light lasing. Aroma- syrupy, caramel-sugary, sweet and a bit reminds mix with coriander flavored witbeer, but without wheat malt sour notes. Taste is oversugary sweet and after a few sips I don’t want to drink it. This brew don’t shine with fruity esters as dark bro, just one way flavor- sugar beer. Light dry finish, thick, slick mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not interesting sample indeed.

Head is huge, average, frothy, white and diminihes slowly. Body is clear yellow and sparkling. Aroma contains dar bread, hay, herbs, orange, lemon, grape, pineapple, cherry, and forest fruits. Flavor: no notes. Body is medium with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Nice beer. Fruity and fresh with a light bitter bite at the finish. Don’t drink too many or it will show you why it gots its name.

From bottle. Pours yellow with a white head. Little lacing. Aroma of lemon and yeast. Taste has some sour characteristics, but it isn’t really sour. Lemon and fruit, some spice. Alcohol well-hidden. This is the third time I’ve had it. It’s interesting, but not my beer.
