sirsirus (60), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Aug 21, 2006 Transperant golden color but not lacking in flavor. Carries well balanced flavors of hop and sweet fruit. Smooth flavors, quite delicious yet not mild in flavors. Minimal carbonation. Very much a Belgian beer in taste.
CaryTheDude (97), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Jul 6, 2008 Pink elephants are pretty sexy, even Honkeybra remembered that part about the beer. Crushed it while sitting downwind with a light shining through. So lots of banananas and spices plus a great look at the floaties, and I loves me some floaties. Good brew. FunkyBrewster (83), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 4, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color with a nice sized fluffy white head. Aroma is somewhat malty with a nice spicy fruit zest like coriander. Flavor starts out a bit lemony and mellows during the finish into a bit of a spiced fruit and cinnamon note. Some lemon tartness lingers for a bit. Medium bodied. Pretty good sipping beer for a hot day sja14 (32), Ohio, USA Jul 3, 2008 Draft. pours a little bit of a hazy golden color. Sweet and fruity aroma with hints of alcohol. Full body with malty sweetness. Good beer. carruthm (204), USA Jul 2, 2008 All sorts of flavors are jam packed in here. First had at Monk’s in Philadelphia, lots of pine and citrus but also yeasty elements shine through. WesKBob (118), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Jul 1, 2008 On tap at Freakin’ Frog in Las Vegas. Pours a hazy gold orange color with a bright white head that lasts quite a while and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is yeasty, with notes of spice and banana. Flavor is similar, with lots of fruity overtones. The finish is dry and alcoholic. A very solid beer, but not the best of this style.
