3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
When I saw the name Delirium Tremens on a tap handle, it reminded me of what I had read in a few beer books, and how it was "some" authors number one beer.
Well when the lovely bartender poured me this beer I had much antisipated, buy the look of the orangish brown Beligian-Style beer emiting from the tap I looked not to be disapointed.
Then she delivered this treat to me, and at my first smell of this beer my senses highten as I readied myself to tasted the best beer of my life.........
BUT, I was suddenly dissapointed by the taste, not that this it was a bad taste but I had antisipated greatness and this was not greatness. It was very good, it had a great taste that masked the high ABV. But it was NOT the best beer "I" had ever had not even close. This makes me realize that I need to look more into what I read and who it is written by.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice thick white head... good lacing drops onto a clear golden brew with thousands of little yeasty globules that look like translucent ice chunks... not terrible just distracting.
Smell is Belgian esters and lemony Belgian pale malts... spicy with very lite peaches and apricots... maybe a little green apple skin.
Flavor is brighter than the aroma, but with a bunch more spiciness... distinct lemon verbena finish.... punchy, lite/medium body with more than its fair share of carbonation.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear light gold with a big white head, little lacing. Fresh aroma of citrus, spice, yeast, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet with carbonation sourness not far behind and some grapefruitty bitterness on finish. High carbonation, light to medium body, a little alco warmness on finish. Deceptively fresh and drinkable, quite dangerous :)

Bottle 330ml. Served at cellar temperature. Pours a hazy gold with chunks of sediment. Head is large, foamy, white and lasts well. Aroma is of herbaceous hops and wholegrain bread; straw, pears, lemon zest, coriander, pepper, cloves and a touch of honey. Flavour is a light herbaceous-hop bitterness with notes of sour dough, grains, pear skins, white grape skins, lemon zest, pepper and a spicy/herbaceous finish. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation and a long warming finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fruitig aroma, eveneens wat zure tinten. Zeer zacht biertje ondanks het hoge alcohol alcohol percentage, fruitig, zoet maar niet te zoet, ik mis wat bitterheid.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Bon Repas. Nice honey gold colour, fluffy white head with staying power. Decent yeast aroma, spicy phenols, fruity. Flavour is similar, fruitiness like pear and nectarine nestling amongst bready malt and yeast. It’s so easy to drink, a light fizz before a creamy middle and dry finish. Very refreshing with only a slight hint of the ABV. Really nice.
