3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
When I saw the name Delirium Tremens on a tap handle, it reminded me of what I had read in a few beer books, and how it was "some" authors number one beer.
Well when the lovely bartender poured me this beer I had much antisipated, buy the look of the orangish brown Beligian-Style beer emiting from the tap I looked not to be disapointed.
Then she delivered this treat to me, and at my first smell of this beer my senses highten as I readied myself to tasted the best beer of my life.........
BUT, I was suddenly dissapointed by the taste, not that this it was a bad taste but I had antisipated greatness and this was not greatness. It was very good, it had a great taste that masked the high ABV. But it was NOT the best beer "I" had ever had not even close. This makes me realize that I need to look more into what I read and who it is written by.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Clear yellow color, modest foam head which quickly disappears. Aroma is quite boozy, blue grape juice, apple juice. Strong hint of plastic / candle wax. Taste resembles a double Abbey style beer (oddly enough), but it’s a little different. Raisins and blue grapes are there, but the beer evolves to an apple juice taste (in the aftertaste as well). A bit strange, not for me...

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Lo primero que llama la atención es su abundante y cremosa espuma blanca muy porosa y que hace compañía a lo largo de todo el trago. La cerveza es de color amarillo anaranjado ligeramente turbio y de una gran vivacidad que la hace muy atractiva.
Aroma a cítricos, a pan y a bizcocho y ligeramente afrutado.

3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
It is a good blonde beer. With 8.5 ABV it has white head and the typical blonde taste. I liked it as a blonde just not my brew type preference

Pours a pale yellow with a long-lasting, foamy white head. Has an aroma of sweet Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet yeast, some wheat, and a good dose of warmth. Very good.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Bulldog NE. Hard to believe I haven’t rated this yet. Very pale golden appearance. Epitomizes the Belgian beer. Lots of hops and some sweetness from the malt. Incredibly easy to drink while remaining complex. Good job Belgium!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours with a larger white head and a golden fluid below.
A very good beer which could act as a benchmark.
Not bad, not outstanding but probably how a beer should be.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, 27/6-14.
App: Golden with a slight mist from sediment. Big soapy head. Stupid bottle.
Aroma: Spicy hoppy yeasty estery nose with flowers, zest, some green banana, dough, vanilla and cookies, alcohol.
Taste: Citrussy and peppery dry flavour with some alcohol heat. Citrus and some pineapple, honey cookies and flowers, some straw and grass.
Palate: Big body with lively carbonation, but the texture is not so sticky so it comes out fairly breezy.
Overall: Better than expected.
