ILduce (86), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 3, 2008 On tap @The Bier Markt in namesake tulip. Dark golden under a big head. Aromas of fruits and spice. Yeasty and alcoholic with sweet tart flavours. Medium-bodied...nice Belgian character.
lumberjack (135), Michigan, USA Jul 25, 2008 Single bottle @ the rock...Golden color with lasting soapy looking head. Aroma lets you know it is Belgian, with fruity yeast notes coming through strong. Taste is somewhat acidic with some fruit (apple juice, banana). Very lively and full palate. 8.5 is hidden completely in this bottle. zappafan99 (256), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 25, 2008 Taste 7/8 Bottle(07). Looks: Clear golden body with a nice white fizz that turns into a yeasty top. Aroma: Candy sugar, hops fruit and a little malty warmth. Taste: Nice medium carbonation. Quite dry and a little spicy. Very drinkable. A little alcohol in the finish. Nice sour once the fizz disappears. Pepper in the finish. Really good brew. I’m not as sold on the Belgians as much as most, but I really liked Delirium on tap. Imports just have a bad taste that I find disagreable, it is not strong with this beer though. The aroma wasn’t much, but I caught some noble hops coming through. It tasted of bananas, slightly clovey, and a little sour (but not off-putting).
Great to get on tap. BMan1113VR (669), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA Jul 22, 2008 On Tap at Luka’s in Oakland. Pours with a clear light amber body and a dissapating lightly off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, with some spices and a bit of apple. Taste is yeasty and is quite sharp. Alcohol is pretty well hidden. Over carbonated and a bit on the dry side. jmm635 (30), Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 20, 2008 Pours clear and golden in color with a nice white head. Aroma was nothing special, flavor was quite interesting. Unlike other reviews, I thought the alcohol was very apparent and a distracting flavor. Highly carbonated, which also did not score well in my book.
