3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful pour from the corked and caged 500 ml bottle produces a golden, straw yellow body with a sizable, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing. The aroma is orange and lemon citrus with some strong alcohol and earthy yeast notes. This is a big beer, but very well balanced start to finish. The bold malt profile and Belgian candi sugar adjuncts never overpower. Mid-palate orange and lemon citrus flavors predominate along with a touch of clove spiciness and a sourdough-like yeasty tang. The finish is dry and satisfying. Excellent.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Kleur en uitzicht: bleek blond, de fijne en regelmatige pareling zorgt voor een fijne, stabiele schuimkraag.
Geur: Licht moutig, flinke touch alcohol, kruiderig.
Smaak: Een flinke scheut alcohol ontvlamt als het ware in de mond, die de tong en het gehemelte werkelijk opwarmen. De smaak is ook gekenmerkt door zijn rondheid. De afdronk is sterk, lang en droogbitter.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle from The Cave bottle shop, Glasgow (£3.85):
Light hops & fruity notes that includes some cloves, spice, apple and some pineapple too. There is a touch of peach, some yeast and a nice helping of citrus on top of a well balanced aroma that also includes from grassy hops and light, summery notes.
Pale, golden amber colour with a massive, foamy white head on top that holds very well. Lively appearance with some nice lacing too.
Light fruits to begin consisting mainly of some grapes, apple and citrus notes with some lively hops and a touch of sugar too. There is a touch of banana and the alcohol content is well hidden.
Medium with a lively mouthfeel and strong carbonation. Smooth with nice, light spice and a hoppy feel with a subtle bitter finish.
Very lively and hoppy feel and some very nice light fruit notes. This one is very well carbonated and looks great with a very nice mouthfeel. The alcohol is very well hidden in this one and the beer is an easy one to drink.

Keg at BeerTown, Waterloo, Ontario, not my style, quite heavy and sweet, like a hoegarden on steroids
