The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Tasting notes: Pours a clear blond color with a creamy white head. Complex aroma of yeast, coriander, lemon, sweet, alcohol touch. Flavor is malty, sweet, lemon, yeast, quite a dry finish, some candy, a slight feeling of a alcohol touch in the end, full body. Good drinkable and thirst-quenching.
Conclusion: The nose tells you that the beer is quite complex, however both flavor and finish do not really show that expectation.

The only one bad thing about this beer is that cheap name. Lightly cloudy gold colour, rich white top, aromas of sweet malt spice, dry taste, strong carbonation, famous and very delicate blond beer in non-transparent bottle. Long finish is marvelous.

Poured from tap at the Yard House Lynnfield for Willrunforbeer’s Bachelor party and my 500th rate. Pours clear gold with a nice white head. Aromas of sweet malt spice and yeast. Taste is dry with nicely balanced overtones. Quite a nice sipper.

Big white head on a pale bubbily beer. Weisse beer body with some citrusy punch mixed with a peppery spice. Fruity pebbles with honey and malt. Nice dry bitterness in the finish like a nice tripel. A famous beet that deserves its fame.

Pours clear liquid gold with a thick white head. Aroma is bubble gum and a stringent note of yeast. Taste is subtle at first and then brings the bitterness with the typical Belgian Blonde bubblegum flavor. This is surprisingly good.

Bottled. 15075 8 srm. Clear, bright yellow, honey orange hue. Pillowy white head, great retention. McD ketchup (low). A lot more mild than Tripel, less esters. Clove like Matilda. Bread crumb pudding. Lighter body for strength. Easy to drink, clove sparks up for a lingering finish. Taste water down compared to the 3 others, StBT, WestTrip, Duvel. Sugary, dimple showing, big simple, warming feeling. Pink bubblegum aftertaste.

Another fine beer under the Delirium brand- slightly hazy and a pale yellow in colour, this subtlety fruity beer makes a great sit out and watch the world pass by drink
