From a polypin at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival on 3 February 2011. 7.0% this year. Pale, silvery colour. The spice is apparent but quite subtle, which is no bad thing as it allows the juicy apple flavours to come through nicely. Not a lot of tanins. Not too sweet. Pleasant drinking.

A Mes rate. Bag in a box at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Almost water coloured. Looks far more like a perry and it’s really clean for a cider too. Strange spicy apple aroma. This is really mad stuff. Full on spicy apples all round. More sweet than tart but it works really well and is pretty well made if you ask me.
