yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 18, 2007 On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. (as Öko-Dunkel) Deep golden brew with a nice, beige head. Malt, caramel and grain in the aroma. The flavor was quite hoppy, with fruit, caramel notes, some grain and a bitterness to balance it. Medium body. It finished with a nice, fruity bitterness. The overall impression of this beer kinda exceeds the aroma and flavor. (070803) MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Aug 20, 2007 Draught at BBF07 as Demmert Öko-Dunkel. Hazy brown colour, OK light brown head. Flavour is mildly roasted with medium bitterness. Quite average. jfm (1572), Holbæk, Denmark Jan 5, 2006 Bottle. Amber color with a off white head. The taste is a sweet caramel and malty body with light roasted notes. chris_o (4405), London, Greater London, England Dec 3, 2005 Bottle at RBESG grand tasting, August 2005. Attractive reddish copper colour with an off-white head. The diacetyl in the aroma overpowers everything else, and carries on onto the palate. A bit sweet and thick. Difficult to know what this would be like without the butterscotch. I hate diacetyl. Not impressed..
Storm (2677), Amager, Denmark Oct 17, 2005 Sampled at RBESG 2005. Light brun colour. Some grassy and malty aroma. Some buttery and sweet flavour, very tasteful.
