COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A local favorite. The pale malts, dry hopping and higher alcohol give this unfiltered beer a strong, complex flavor. Be careful, you might get hooked!

Pours copper with a big foamy off-white head and good lacing rings. Nose of roasted caramel malt and fruit. Medium in body and smooth in palate. Flavor mirrors the nose, with a bitter finish. Nice drinking and interesting and enjoyable flavors.

16 ounce sample on tap at Rubicon Brewing Company. Aroma is virtually non-existent with scant sweetness and orangey hops. Transparent copper body with a small tan head. Starts a little floral before this becomes a bit herbal in the middle. Maybe some rye malty hints in there? Finishes with some tannins and husky, earthy hop bitterness. Decent. Pretty well-balanced.

Bomber from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours a light ruddy copper with a slight foamy off-white head. Aromas of roasted malt and a peach/fruit floral combo. Maybe even strawberry. Medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is a bit weak, more like strawberry, thought the bitter is pronounced. Really quite nice, with a very different flavor.

Bottle labeled "PSA Extra IPA". A copper color with a white head. A delightful floral hop aroma. Smooth and not very bitter, but it has a nice floral almost fruity flavor. Easy drinkin’.

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy auburn orange with a one finger yellowish white head, pretty good retention. Nondescript pine citrus cascadey hop and caramel malt nose that I’ve smelled 50 other times, though maybe a hair fresher in this case. Gets a little sweaty when it warms. Flavor is a bit pinier with moderate caramel notes. Finishes isemi-dry with bitterness at a 3, earthy. Moderate carbonation with a medium body. Meh.

On tap at Wine Exchange of Sonoma. Pours orange with a thin off-white head and a pine aroma. There is a nice caramel malt flavor with lots of hop bitterness. Not bad.

On draft a dempseys. Pours a cloudy, golden color with a small white head. Odor of pine. Moderate lacing with moderate taste of pine and moderately bitter. Lighty carbonated, Medium body. Not as hoppy as expected for a dry hopped beer. Decent beer, not their best but would reorder if i was in the mood.

A hazy orange amber ale with a thin off white head. A light malts and hops aroma, non-descript, a bit herbaceous. In mouth, light caramel malt and light hops, not very strong, rather mushy....On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

On tap at Boonville Beer Fest. Yeah Dempsey’s! Way to have the same name as the classic Pennsylvania diner (R.I.P. 1946-2007). This is a decent brew from Dump - er - Dempsey’s (sorry, non-Pennsylvanians won’t get that one). Golden amber color with a white head. Aroma of caramel malt and citrusy hops. Flavor is more of the same, with earthy notes and a little alcohol. Medium body.

Golden amber with a fizzy white head. Earthy hemp aroma and taste with a dry straw finish.
