COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our signature beer. We use lots of caramel malt and cascade hops to give this its robust flavor and floral hop finish. This is a great food beer because it stands up to our full flavored and spicy foods.

phaleslu (9019) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2016
Draft at the brewpub, served in a flight. Pours a mostly clear orange-gold with a small white ring for a head. Generic slate of red malts, caramel, mild toast, straw, grass, and hay. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a floral, malty mouthfeel. Beyond boring. To make this your signature beer shows a distinct lack of ambition.

On tap @ Dempsey’s. Hazed light amber pour with a white head. Kind of watery, bland nose. Some light malt aroma of bread and toast. Light orange peel and grass. Flavor is sweet and malt forward. Notes of caramel, toast, and bread. A bit of bitter orange peel and grass. Kind of watery, a bit astringent.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light copper color with an ecru head. Aroma and flavor scream crystal malt. Some caramel malt too, but this is heavy on the astringent iced tea.

This has an amber color and slightly hoppy aroma. It starts of with a cleaner taste but finishes with a more bitter hoppyness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
