COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A foreign-style stout - hearty, full bodied and strong with a smooth roasted malt finish. Lots of caramel malt and roasted barley give this beer it’s character. A popular winter brew and a good compliment to one of our rich chocolaty desserts

22 oz. bottle from Hayduke. He, I, and his brother Rick enjoyed it together via facebook chat. This pours almost black and has a big tan head that has a bit of red in it. The nose is fudge with milk chocolate and nuts. The flavor is also chocolate with some nuts and a bit of roasted effect. It reminds me of a Guinness but with more chocolate. It has that feel to it. There is a bit of hop notes here that are grassy and citrus and add some faint bitterness. Very late in the bottle some grass could be tasted. This is a nice beer. It leaves Guinness in the dust.

Bomber from Bottle Barn. Pours really dark brown with a creamy/bubbly tan head. Aroma of dark malt and something that makes me think cow patty. Sorry. Med body, maybe. Flavor is something toffee, coffee, dark malt, a bit hoppy. Develops chocolate. Finishes more chocolate than anything else. Not spectacular, but nice. Killing with faint praise. Hey, it’s better than most stouts!
