Sampled from bottle at the brewery. Hazy amber body with a small off-white head. A bit weak aroma of caramel and fruit. Flavor is fruity, caramel, moderate bitterness, spices and warming alcohol. A bit straight forward but OK.

Sample from bottle, enjoyed with fellow ratebeerians at the brewery. Murky, dark amber body, under a medium yellow-blond top. Soft caramelly malt flavor. Some candied fruits and notes of pepper. Taste is spiced caramel, some jammy dark fruits. Light peppery bitterness in the backbone. Mid-bodied. Slick in the mouth. Solid and straightforward.
