Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a cloudy yellow-brown color with a white head. The aroma is a strong mix of bread and sugar with quite a bit of alcohol mixed in. The flavor is bread and orange citrus with some toffee and brown sugar notes. The beer is fairly sweet overall. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours olive drab. Not sure why all beers from this brewery seem to pours this color. Off white head. Some sediment on top. Nose of almond paste, yeast, malt and spicy hops. Taste is the same. Nutty character to the malt. Medium body. Decent.

Abio (1551) - Waasland, BELGIUM - JAN 23, 2011
Pours out orange/amber coloured. A small head. Malts, earthy, light spices, a bit unpleasant smell. Watery and to much carbonation. Not my kind of mouthfeel. Malts; slightly hops and spices. Many better winterbeers to find.
