corkyrory66 (625) - BELGIUM - OCT 15, 2014

33cl bottle@Boelekewis, Huizingen 08/2014. Easy drinking, dry yet yeasty Belgian blonde. Inexpressive citrus & lemon pepper hops fighting a lukewarm battle with subdued pale malts and apple & pear compote, before some cardboard and pollen sets in towards a forgettable finish.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy golden brown with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, garbagey fruit, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Bad.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin white head. Cloudy blond pour. Ok, nothing special but not really my style of beer.

Alengrin (2060) - BELGIUM - AUG 12, 2014
Standard blonde with thin but stable, off-white head and ochre blonde colour, cloudy. Fruity nose, lots of orange peel, some bitter honey, dried apricot, grassy hops and cardboard. Fruity, lightly spicy taste, soft sweetish malt basis, citrussy hint in the finish with bitterish hops. Nothing worth remembering.

Bottle. Hazy gole pour with bubbly white head. Aroma is quite grassy, nice hop, peppery belgian yeasty notes, light metallic aromas. Taste is malty, grassy and metallic finish, dry. Palate is light bodied and well carbed. Very middle of the road, if it wasn’t for the strong metallic character it could be very nice.

EddyBeer1 (901) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 17, 2014

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, small to medium sized, a bit soapy white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, some sweetness, a touch of lemon and orangepeel. Fizzy carbonation, low to average body. Overcarbonated for sure. Otherwise an average blond.
