(33cl bottle best by Dec 10, thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich orange with lasting tan creamy head. Nose of candied orange and Belgian yeast. Taste of Belgian yeast, spicy, caramel, candied oranges, golden raisins and a really great linger.

TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 25, 2011
Bottled 33cl, ABV 5.5% (Beer Planet, BB 12/2010)
Hazy, almost murky brown color, small beige head. At first aroma is like in overfermented sima, then raisins, caramel and yeast. Light to medium-bodied. Caramelly-yeast flavor with lots of raisins and dates, active carbonation. This is like watery version of dark trappist beers (Chimay Blue, Westy 8, Rochefort 8)!

sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 25, 2010
(Bottled, 5.5% ABV) Hazy ruby-brown with a medium, firm and lasting, lacy head. Mild, neutral aroma of caramely malt, some fruitiness and yeast. Caramely-malty flavor with strongly yeasty notes, a touch of ashiness, some dark fruit. Light to medium body, slightly foamy CO2, a bit thin mf. Vienna meets Belgian Ale - not very interesting or complex, but balanced in its way. 3333

Abio (1133) - Waasland, BELGIUM - SEP 20, 2010
Colour is brown-orange, a medium sized head that could hold some longer, but it sticks really nice at the glass. Smell is red frtuis, malts, spices and alcohol. Taste is a bit roasted, weird, earthy, spiced and red fruits. Not bad, but misses something.

Bottle: Murky brown with a off white creamy head. Dark fruit with cloves. Taste is fruit, malt, spice, and seems a bit minty to me. Weird but good.

JoeinEscazú (1181) - San Jose, COSTA RICA - DEC 9, 2009
Nice to find a dark Belgian ale of quaffable strength. Ruddy chestnut-colored beer offers notes of toasted almond and cider in the nose. Lightly sweet, firmly bitter taste with a sourish bready touch and the impression of stewed tea. Finishes dry with bittersweet aftertaste. Highly drinkable.
