3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
21/08/2010 - 33cl @ Gents Bierfestival Thanks to Jerre for the bottle
Pours a clear amber colored beer with a fine laced white head. Smell is mainly musty, bread yeasts and basement. Somewhat sour also. Mouth feeling is sparkling and fresh. Taste has alcohol sweetness covered by roasted malts. Aftertaste has honey and fruits, citrus and some hops. Ends better than it starts.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33 cl. Bought myself @ School Bruges. Taste this 20.08.2010.
(almost) Clear darkgolden to amber color, nice off-white head.
Aroma sweet, mix off carmalts and very light-roasted, fruits.
Taste again light roasted malts, bit yeast, sweet, fruits notes, dry end.
I’m positive surprised. Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very good dense & fine, just off-white head over foxy-golden beer. Fruity nose with green apples and sweet corn. Yeasty notes with just a semblance of madeirisation. Dry-ish, malty, speciality grain, but also again fruity-yeasty notes - tad grapey, as with sweet white grapes. Finish has some (sweet) butter, and warming up, coriander arrives to spoil the fun. Palate is mainly sweet, with a quite spritzy carbonation; medium bodied. Basically nice beer - wonder where it places in the range. Will probably stay a one-off anyway. Many, many thanks to D. van B. tot B. for finding me this elusive brew!
