22/VII/2012 - 75cl bottle from De Bierloods / Zytholoog (Adegem) @ home - BB: 12/XII/11 - (2012-735)

Clear red to rust brown beer, small light beige to yellow head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, green apple skin, some citrus, caramel, slight hint of mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: caramel, little sweet, some mocha, ripe as well as dried fruits, little bitter. Aftertaste: banana, caramel, little grassy, citrus, dark chocolate.

Bottle 750ml.

Clear medium to dark amber colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, moderate yeasty, light riped fruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, caramel, sweet malt - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111105]

Bottle @ Early Winter Tasting, Ulfborg, 2011. Pours ruby amber with a lasting head and lacings. Nose is dark fruit, yeast and caramel. Smooth and full bodied. Yeasty and fruity with a nice layer of caramel.

Bottle, 75cl. A dense, two-finger off-white head sits on top of a mostly clear, dark amber body. Some lacings. Dried fruits, some pleasant herbyness and some dark malts. Quite pleasant, but lacking some on complexity. The same can be said of the flavor. Dried fruits and some orange peel, with maltyness, some alcohol notes and a fine bitterness. Full-bodied and effervescent, with some bitterness in the end. Well, it lacks on complexity, but it’s tasteful and quite drinkable anyway. 111105

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear dark amber with creamy medium tan head. Aroma is malt, yeast, caramel and fruit. Flavour is malt, yeast, caramel, fruit, little toffee and notes of alcohol.

Clear dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and light yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 051111

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt, caramel and hops.

Bottle @ ZBF 2010. A little hazy brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of caramel and fruits. The taste also caramel some coffee en a little chocolate. It’s bitter and a little sweet. The aftertaste is bittersweet.
