UPDATED: MAY 18, 2015 From tap at Moeder Lambic Original - the owner told me this is brewed very limitedly and proudly stated his keg was the last one around for the time being. Very thick and rocky, heavily lacing, stable, off-white head over a hazy, deep golden blonde beer, looks pretty. Aroma of acacia honey, tangelo, orange juice, ripe plum, pineapple, white bread, peach. Soft, vividly fruity, sweet onset of exotic fruits and apricot, smooth, bready and a bit caramelly, sourish accent adds refreshment, mineral touch, very florally and citrussy aromatic hop finish, spicy but not thoroughly bittering - a bit like in Troubadour Magma; this allows the estery and malty fruit sweetness to linger. One of the best Belgian IPAs I had so far.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2015 15cl sample at the Bruges Beer Festival (Bruges, February 1st 2014). The finest hoppy brew of Den Triest, and one of my favorite Belgian IPA’s. Lovely yellow coloured IPA with citrus flavours. A rich and great bitterness, for the refreshing mozaik hops are omnipresent.
