Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford, in ’4th’ Wellington Beer Festival ’10. Now returned as ’Jasper’s Pale Ale’. Gold with a white head. Faint sweet aroma with hints of fruit and varnish. Pleasing sweet grainy taste with some bitterness to follow. Very good.

[3/6/11] Bottle at ZBF 2011. Hazy amber. Aroma of yeast, fruits and caramel. Flavor starts fruity and yeasty with some sweetness and continues more bitter with some hops. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, light peach - apricot. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110305]

Bottled @ ZBF 2011: Murky golden coloured. DEnse off whtie head. Aroma of butter, fruits and yeast. Flavour of fruits, flowers, yeast and sweetenss. Medium bodied. Sweetish and light herbal ewnd.

75 cL bottle at ZBF2011. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is spiced and slight hoppy. Sweet and light fruity peachy. Mild bitterness and smooth dry yet fruity into the finish.

Small yellow head over hazed, darker orange beer. Ligthly smoked, caramel or gingerbread nose, CO². Faint acidity that balances perfectly the malts and the hops present. Intentional or not, it’s good. Leafy, near grassy notes. Medium bodied, slick and rounded finish. Quite OK strong pale ale, with a good balance.

Cask conditioned at The Turf tavern, Oxford. Clear gold with white head. Sharp, vinegary, sour beer, pretty much undrinkable unfortunately.
