Smaksprøve servert fra fat i den nydelige hagen bak det knøttlille bryggeriet 30 Apr 11. Appelsinfarget. OK kremaktig skum. Fin fruktig aroma. Smaken er frukt med sitrusfrukter i forgrunnen. Tørr ettersmak med innslag av frukt. OK tørsteslukker. Dette var første stopp i prologen til Tour de Geuze 2011 - på “Tur med Podge” i Belgia: “Driving people to drink since 1994”.

Hazy and cloudy orange colour. Smells like alcohol, fruit, fresh and pilsener. Tastes a bit sweet, with some sugary finish. Great mouthfeel.

Bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Hazy cloudy orange color, big white head. Smell is way off, don’t know what it is but it’s filthy. Taste sweet, grainy, ash and dirt. Carbo is decent, body medium.

OleR (3658) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
Sample from bottle, enjoyed in the sunny back garden at the brewery. Low creamy blond top. Clear, deep gold colored body. Moderate aroma. Dry wheaty. Spiced, sharp and citrus-zesty. Spiced, kind of edgy fruit flavor. Subdued dry wheat malts. Crisp in the mouth. Mid-bodied. A certain astringency in the finish.

Beer3000 (3111) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2011
Sampled from bottle at the brewery. Hazy orange body with a big, collapsing off-white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy with hint of citric fruit and honey. Flavor is refreshing and a bit sweet with citric fruit, spices, yeast and a decent bitterness. Bitter and fruity aftertaste. Refreshing and nice but not great.
