COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In celebration of Earth’s annual tilt back toward the sun, we bring you Hibernale. A Belgian style tripel centered smack dab between the peppery spring of a spicy blend of Belgian yeasts and the nocturnal kiss of dark crystal, munich and honey malts, Hibernale helps fight the midwinter urge to stay curled up in bed. For a taste of hope, optimism and promise this solstice season, get up and grab a glass. After all, you’re halfway there already.

@GABBF2010. Hazy medium brown color/ fleeting head. Brown sugar, spicy yeasty aromas. Light/ medium body. Brown sugar, sweet spice, light pit fruit flavors. a bit thin. decent.

On tap @ Taproot. Clear golden amber with a creamy off white head. Aroma of candi sugar, belgian yeast, spices and some caramel. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side but the spicy yeast helps balance out the flavors and make this pretty drinkable. Medium body with average carbonation and a nice malty finish. Interesting take on the style but a good beer whatever you call it.

Draft at Taproot. Pours a hazed ruby brown with a very small ring of a head. Sweet honey, Belgian yeast, white bread, banana, apple. The first thing I notice is the carbonation is a touch less lively than usual for the style, but not a fault for me. Sweet honey apple up front, into moderate wheat/yeastiness and finishes into banana esters and Belgian sugar. Couldn’t find any info on this before adding, so style may need to be adjusted.
