COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mother Ale pays homage to the best in all of us. This rich bodied golden ale is smooth and satisfying. Brewed using North American grown pilsner and wheat malts, and topped off with European noble hops, Mother Ale is a reminder that mother knows what’s best. After a day of fishing, rafting, or just marveling at the bounty of mother earth, no beer knows what “ales” you better.

Pretty bland and not that good. Anne said it tasted like Budweiser. Part of a variety pack.

Can, pale amber beer, decent white head and lace. Aroma sour malt. Taste pale malt, hint of hops, touch of yeast. Palate thin, carbonation moderate. Tastes like it was brewed to transition light beer drinkers.

Banana nutty clove aroma. Has a Belgian feel to it. Taste is a bit more bitter than a Belgian with floral hop bitterness. Light palate, almost watery, with a bit of lagerish funk. Not bad though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Total Wine

Figured it would it would be fun to try a new (to me) Alaskan brewery. This one was pretty much what I expected -- a simple, super-easy-drinking blond ale. Not a huge amount going on in the flavor department, but well crafted and tasty. Nice beer.

Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of metal, taffy, plastic, and diacetyl. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dirty...drain pour bad.
