3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 thornecb (3098) - Marblehead, USA - OCT 23, 2007
Pours a clear amber into a Trappist glass. Little to no head on vigorous pour...rather sickly looking. Slight candi and sour malt aromas. Carbonated, musty, citrusy sour and alcoholic.

Bottle. Both smell and taste reminded me immediately of mead. Very sweet, honey-like. Not bad, but did not resemble much of a triple. Although sweet this was quite drinkable.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a lots of floaties and a small white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast a little corriander and spice. Flavor is Belgian yeast with some green hops and a decent orange zest toward the end. Nothing really stands out like it should in a triple, kinda watery triple if there could be such a thing. Not the most flavorful tripel.

Certo dopo una cena abbondante è decisamente utile per digerire, ma nel complesso non è niente di indimenticabile...

Pours a slightly hazy peach with good deal of particulates. White head that lasts a while before fading to a ring. Aroma is vegetables and some site apple. Taste is malt sweetness, some fig, and some alcohol but overall not real flavorful. Nice prickly carbonation.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 AWMiller (512) - Mansfield, Texas, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Tripels are fast becoming a favorite brew-style of mine and this ale does not disappoint in any way! This brew poured up a slightly clear amber-colored body with a nice thick bubbly white head with good retention and lacing. Aromas of sweet malts, sugars, and bread dough. Flavors are loaded with lemon zest, wild honey, roasted malts, and a slight hint of hops. Medium-bodied, very smooth with a finish that is dry and refreshing with no harsh aftertastes.
