Bottle 330ml from Plonk. Exceptional beer. Aromas of grain, butter, caramel, and apples. Taste is sweet, with bitter and sour notes all the way. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Yellow cloudy, with a frothy head.

Bottle, 33 cl. Taste this beer now @ home again after a long time. Dark golden with an big nice white head. Aroma of flowers, hops, coriander ?, malts. Medium body. Very good mouthfeel. Taste begins little sweet, malts, yeasts, and a good alcoholic character. Dry finish , a nice tripel !

Best before 10/19/2008, rated 1/27/2006. Pours golden with an effervescent body and a nicely-sized fluffy tan head. Aroma of melon, honey, coriander, chamomile, cobwebs, and flowers. Taste starts lightly sweet with some citrus and herbal notes. Finish is dry and crisp. Geez, I love tripels with a little wheat! Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with soft, yet lush carbonation. Very nice tripel with a dry finish and pleasant spicing. I very much enjoyed this beer, despite it’s low rating. This beer had just arrived at Green’s in Atlanta, so I assume it was fairly fresh.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2005 pours a cloudy amber-orange colour with a giant white, creamy head and a beautiful lacing; strong honeyish aroma with light notes of spices; very creamy mouthfeel, robust malt body and a decent bitterness; long aftertaste of honey with lingering and subtle spicy notes - a deeply pleasant abbey beer

Bottle marked best before end 2008/04/06. Large white fizzy head that was mostly lasting with minimal lacing, hazy, visible carbonation, and a golden hue. Nose was sweet, fruity, citrus, spicy, fresh, crisp, alive. Flavor was sweet, fruity, citrus and spicy and at 8%ABV not overly done at all. Nicely done, well balanced and worthy of a try despite the overall low ratings posted prior to mine.

Aroma is sweet with apples, some spice, and a light yeasty quality. Pours light, cloudy , gold with a light, white fluffy head. Flavor is lightly sour with yeast, citrus, apple, and alcoholic warmth. Mouth feel is moderate.

A - I have poured my glass twice. First, it was pretty clean gold, but when I poured the second half of the bottle, it was hazy orange with nice head S - nice buttery aroma with citruses, grapes, yeast and malt T - too much going on here! earthiness, yeast, malt, peppery, fruits. Alcohol is not so hidden, however pretty good on the high ABV M - medium to high carbonation with full body D - drinkable, but very full and heavy, so the best to the end of the day or after nice dinner

Tripels are fast becoming a favorite brew-style of mine and this ale does not disappoint in any way! This brew poured up a slightly clear amber-colored body with a nice thick bubbly white head with good retention and lacing. Aromas of sweet malts, sugars, and bread dough. Flavors are loaded with lemon zest, wild honey, roasted malts, and a slight hint of hops. Medium-bodied, very smooth with a finish that is dry and refreshing with no harsh aftertastes.
