Smells of grass, banana and some citrus. Very nice.
Has a creamy and heavy mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not stout heavy, just right.
Tastes of spice (cloves) and banana, has a slight bitter finish with a spice aftertaste that lingers. All in all, a favourite. beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

My original score was a little low (low 3’s) only because I rated it from a keg at a private party and the serving conditions were far from ideal. I’ve certainly changed in my appreciation of different styles in the past 2 years as well. I love the Banana in the aroma, the full bodied chewiness, the perfect appearance when served right (I usually get mine at Volo) - this is wonderful stuff and the brewer is a fantastic person to chat with. A must have if you’re visiting Toronto and a regular item for those of us who live here. maeib (4711), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

Beautifully cloudy, citrussy scent and a strong, distinctive and clean taste. The aftertaste is mild. A toast to everyone involved in making this beer. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2004 Pours a light hazy yellow color, moderate white head. Aroma of banana, clove, wheat, and some yeast. Mouthfeel is incredibly soft, very smooth. Typical weizen flavors, but they come across so nicely from the palate. Quite enjoyable. Banana, caramel, pepper, grass and citrus are blended well into a lovely refreshing beer. It's very well balanced throughout, to the very nice dry finish. Great Hefeweizen.
