Cloudy amber color with a minimal light cream colored head. Orange zest and straw aroma. As this warms some harsh alcohol aromas arise. Astringent, biting malt and hops infusion. Bad bourbon alcohol flavors and finish.

Light bodied, poured a lighter amber colour with a medium sized off white head. the head was very light and creamy. nice integrated hops, but not overly bitter. It’s too bad i didn’t get to try more of this brewery while it was open.

Pours clear brown-ish with a nice thin head on it that stays. Cloves, barley and sour apples in the aroma. Thin body that is a little acidic, mildly malty and lightly citrusy. Not the ale that the label suggests.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2004 Sampled this beer at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison WI. Even though my scores on this are accurate and well researched, ?Da Man? wants me to say more about the beer, so I will. This beer I remember liking a lot. Had a nice sweet taste to it. Then again, I also remember a cute blonde comming on to me at GTOM, so I may be slightly askew.
