Cask at the Maltings, York. Pours a dark amber - reddish in direct light - with a thin cap of white lace that fades quickly. Aroma is bread dough malt, with slight citrus hop tones, especially grapefruit. Taste is smooth: orange marmelade, lemon, chewy bread dough and slight toffee. Juicy citrus in the finish with slight to moderate bitterness and a very slight sour note. Very smooth and full on the tongue. Excellent easy drinker.
