COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - usually September but has appeared at other times.
Brewed predominantly with Cascade hops which provide a fruity citrus aroma, and Cluster hops which give a distinctive bitterness. The use of Styrian hops adds a gentle floral aroma.

Clear light medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, toffee - fudge. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100917]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. The nose is buttery with some citric hops. A little thin-bodied, dry fruitiness and again some diacetyl. Ends dry, yeasty and lightly astringent. 170910

Got this beer in a bottle to take out from the george and dragon in Dent but its 3.7% not 4..5%. Golden in colour with a white airy head aroma of citrus and hops quite melllow not too fizzy nice taste of hops.

Cask Stillage at the Memorial Hall, Northwich 22/09/2006 Slightly sour aroma. Golden amber coloured and fruity with some acidity. A little dryness in a crisp malt finish.

Cask gravity at the South Devon Beer Festival, 23/09/2006. A slightly murky golden colour with a small head. A hoppy, caramel aroma. A hoppy taste with caramel and biscuity notes. A light bitter finish with citrus. A pretty good session ale.
