Cask in the strands hotel, nether wasdale. Alround rating: Pale malts, slightly grainy cereal character, but grassy and citrus hopes help herpahs herbal as it grows. Fairly decent effort.

Cask, gravity, at The Pig’s Summer Beer Festival ’10, at the Pig and Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Pale gold, slightly hazy, with a white head. Curious musty aroma of a yeasty character, giving a distinct impression of peppermints past their sell-by date. Homebrew taste, sweet with some aspirin sourness. Some bitterness in the finish. Odd, chaotic stuff.

Cask at GBBF 2009, 4th August 09. Bright yellow. A bit flat. Somewhat hoppy but not sharp or fresh and the finish is too short.

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, apples, vitamin pills. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

Crystal clear, golden body with a filmy layer on the top. Discreet smell of citric fruits. Lemon fruity flavour with rounded pale malty sweetness. Short-lived fruity aftertaste. Thin to medium bodied. Sufficiently rich taste for a lager, though (GBBF, 06.08.2009).

Cask, 1st Hinckley Beer Festival. Puzzling interpretation of real lager with distinct strawberry, mint and horseradish notes. Octo managed to see it off. Fruity and difficult.
