It’s dark mahogany-red with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, light syrup, cocoa and nuts. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of cocoa, roasted malt, caramel, nuts and the finish is slightly dry.

Grima (2089) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 13, 2012
The beer in the glass is dark ruby-red beer with less foam. It smells very malty and bready, grainy and slightly roasted. Starts malty bitter, very dominant bready and grainy, with some roasted notes. The middle part is also very bready, the hops come through better. Goes into a bitter hoppy, bready and malty, slightly grainy finish with nuances of roasted malts!

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Red amber color. Sweet bready and toffeish aroma. Sweet bready, nutty and toffeish flavor with notes of chocolate. Bready in a good way, taste like a small bock.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear nutty brown with a beige head. Burned caramel with quite some pumpernickel. Medium body, burned caramel and some grassy hops. A little roast in the finish. A nice Dunkel, kinda a mini Bock. 261111

yngwie (13345) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle. A brown beer, clear and topped by a thin, light beige head. Lightly roasted aroma with some dried fruits. Roasted flavor with some toffee and coffee, with a light sourish touch and some notes of bitterness. Dry, medium bodied and a bit hard on the carbonation. Dry, roasted and lightly bitter finish. Sure drinkable, but uninspired and boring. 111126

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, liquorice, some slight notes of grass and fruits. Flavour is quite much the same. A bit like the better stuff from the bulk brewers in Finland.
