Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, soured milk notes, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, sour malt. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, sour fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111126]

Jan 2010: Brown 500ml bottle poured into a Veltins 0.2 litre stemmed tulip glass. My fourth and final beer from this brewery (unless I find another one somewhere on my travels). Pours a nice dark gold, darker than most German Pilsners/Lagers. The normal pure white head sat on top for each pour. The aroma had a hint of nuts, otherwise the regular Pilsner no-smell that almost all have. Good blend of hops and malts, add the nuts from the smell and you get a very good Pilsner. Better body and depth of flavours normally associated with a Pilsner, this was almost full-bodied and creamy. Easy to drink and one of the best German Pilsners that I’ve ever had.

Maria (8582) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2012
It’s a dark golden beer with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of malt, straw, cellulose and the flavour is slightly sweet with notes of malt, old hay, grass and light flower. The finish is slightly dry.

Grima (1573) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 8, 2011
The beer in the glass is strong golden, with little foaming. It smells very grainy-hoppy, slightly musty. Starts very sour, malty, with citrus fruit flavors. The middle part is fruity and sour, with a good hop aroma and a slight grainy note. Goes into a hoppy-sour, fruity and grainy finish!

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Tart aroma overpowers most. Medium body, citric tartness - this is infected in a rather bad way. 261111

Bottle. It’s not completely clear, but see through anyway. Golden in color and with a small, off-white head. Grainy pale malts and a strange fruityness in the aroma. The same goes for the flavor, it’s rather unusual. Lightly sourish, with a hint of lemon juice, as well as pale malts and a little bitterness. Medium body. A rather uninteresting one, and not very good either. 111126

Bottle: Deep golden, visible carbonation, creamy white head, vanilla, pale malt, straw and a distinctive buttery touch in the nose; moderate - mainly - sweet flavour, soft, almost medium bodied; slightly lingering buttery and sweet-malty finish. Very decent "Bohemian Helles"......

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Slightly hazy deep golden color. Sweet aroma of corn, bread and honey. Dryer grainier taste with honey and some fruity tartness. A slightly muddled and surprisingly grainy taste.
