COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet malt tones on the nose, this easy-drinking Pale is as inviting as grandmother’s cookies.  A citrus-driven hop presence on the mid palate with a crsip finish make this the prefectly balanced brew for cooler summer evenings.

tap. caramel malt and high alpha American hop vehicle. medium body; a bit syrupy, a bit twangy with fusel alcohol / ethanol noticed. caramel and light toffee malt present with rough hop bitterness, and it sits much closer to "american red" / "amber" rather than american pale ale.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a thin white head, with slight lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 6) body....nose is citrus, pine, light honey floral tones....taste is toffee/caramel, finish is heavy citrus and pine bitterness....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is a fairly typical American Pale Ale, with slightly more hop bitterness than often found in the style. BJCP 7/3/13/4/7

Tap @ brewery. Clear dark golden with a small tight head. Aroma is pretty hoppy with tones of mango, pine, grapefruit, and maybe some apple. Taste is pretty balanced and nice. I’m getting some citrus orange, tangerine, mango, apple, sweet and sugary pale/crystal maltiness and a creamy balanced finish. Delightful!

Draft at DBC. Fine pale ale. Nothing to write home about. Some minimal hops and citrus on nose but a not quite clean finish. Meh. Kind of a disappointment given how many other good local pales there are around here.

Tap @ brewery. Fairly transparent, burnt orange appearance with a smaller, off white head. Slightly toasty malty, light caramel, very mild citrus hoppy aroma. Pretty subdued, light caramel malty, very light piney, mild citrusy hoppy, light toffee flavor. Not a whole lot going on- pretty bland but easily drinkable.

On tap at Denver Beer poured a clear amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas ofcarmel, earthiness and light fruittiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and a hint of fruittiness with a smooth lingering carmel finish.

Lightly hazy rust color - nose is of husky grains, earthy hops and peanut skins - flavor continues with this husky character, like raw, ground up grains - the peanut skin quality is also quite pronounced in the flavor - some earthy hops, but the other character overpowers it - something off about this one. 545210
