Slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. The nose is musty and earthy with a bit of corn meal, molasses, and stale earthy grassiness. The flavor is also kinda weird, sweet but kinda like cornmeal or something, with something like a cross between honey and molasses, and earthy stale grass hops.

On tap at Denver Beer Co. Pours a murky orange with a little cloudy, white head. Nose is musty, earthy, malt, light wood, a little funk. Flavor has a candy sweetness, peach, apricot, wheat, some clove. Sweet finish. Very fruity. Needed a touch of acid for balance.

Growler, shared with Gabe. Pours a medium, well retained ivory head, with some lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 15) body......nose is toffee/caramel, sweet malt, with rye spice, light pine......taste is rye spice, light toffee/caramel, lightly sweet throughout......mouth feel medium, slightly creamy, with medium carbonation. This, in spite of the ingredients, is a simple beer. It does not taste bad, and there are no major flaws. However, it is just another Specialty beer with minimal characteristics to differentiate it from the crowd. BJCP 7/3/12/4/6

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear amber in appearance with a small white head and decent lacing. Vegetables, light rye, caramel, soap, and light butyric acid in the aroma. Weird shit, pretty bad. Taste is spicy rye, floral hops, straw, biscuit and grass with a light bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Not bad, but something is really off with the smell and its hard to get past.

On tap at Denver Beer poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, rye, orange, pink grapefruit, tangeine, tropical fruit and melon. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, rye, melon, tropical fruit, orange and light pink grapefruit with a smooth dry lightly bitter lingering fruity finish.
