Dark rich deep brown with a foamy persistent light tan head. Has an aroma of chocolate covered cherries, a touch of almond, and that juice that’s in a cherry jar. Taste was prominently of brown toffee malts with a sweet addition of cherries, kinda dark and sweet, not heavy though. Pleasant and flavorful.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 notalush (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 22, 2011
What the hell happened here? - turbid reddish brown - smells and tastes like boiled celery, partially digested cherry skins, mild cheese - ground up cherry pit finish - moderate acidity - truly a fucking horrible beer.
