On tap at Denver Beer poured a clear gold with a small lasting offwhite head. Aromas of crackers, earthiness, citrus, light wood and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of crackers, earthiness, wood and citrus with a smooth dry moderatly bitter finish.

I was really unimpressed with this IPA. It just seemed watered down and boring, without much bitterness at all. Very bland. I’ll have to try it again and see if it was a fluke.

Seems a lot like the rye, but with no rye and a heftier hop bill - hazy straw - nose of spicy hops and earth - very light background dms detracts a little - full carbonation in the mouth - a little bit doughy/yeasty - crackery malt through the middle sets the stage for potent, spicy, citrusy hoppiness through the tail end - that dms pops up just a little in the finish, but the hops cover it well - decent, but needs the kinks worked out.
