4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at the brewery. The best beer I have had from them. Deliciously malty and sweet, with the oak adding a great flavor mixing with the malts well. Clean finish and endlessly enjoyable. Great work. Highly recommended.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap @ Denver Beer Co. Pours a dark brown appearance with a tan head. A bit woody, chocolate, light caramel, slightly herbal aroma. Grainy woody, vanilla, tannic, rich oaky, chocolate, chewy caramel flavor. The oak is fresh fresh and intense and seems to cover up the aspects that are enjoyable in the normal version.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear black with a thin beige cap head. Intense aroma of holiday coffee, roasty oak, and a touch of boozy peppermint. Flavor was equally lovely of roasty chocolate, boozy oak, pepperminty coffee, a slight molasses tone, and an earthy toasty sweetness. Really interesting, and probably tastes more like Christmas than the brewers intended.
