UPDATED: DEC 23, 2011 Tap @ Denver Beer Co. Deep cloudy brown appearance with a brown head. Moderately roasty coffee, chocolate malty, light vanilla aroma. Easy drinking, moderate espresso, light vanilla, roasty, chocolate malty flavor. Actually a pretty good coffee stout.

On tap at Denver Beer poured a clear dark brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of coffee, bitter chocolate and roastiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, roastiness and bitter chocolate with a smooth lingering coffee finish.

Murky brown pour - smells and tastes pretty much like straight up cold coffee - good cold coffee, mind you, but still - a tiny bit of vanilla and doughy yeast - they’re lucky I love coffee.

Tap @ brewery. Black with a thin spotty head. Aroma of fresh brewed coffee with a touch of chocolate and leather to it. Body was pretty smooth with subtle carbonation and nice long linger. Flavor was mostly of over roasted coffee with a licorice and black malt twang. Decent, not the best coffee stout I ever had.
