2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Overly sweet, strong lactose and burnt sugars - charred maltiness and a abrasive roast/bitterness of the tail end - a bit of cocoa and vanilla on the tail end - meh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Perfect balance with the very light roasted barley flavor and light lactose sweetness. Not a robust or dry stout and almost confusable with a porter.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap @ DBC. Hazy, reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Slightly creamy, mild cocoa, a bit toasty yet boring aroma. A touch watery, burnt chocolate malty, creamy, mild espresso, a touch charred flavor with a burnt aftertaste.

On tap at brewery. Black pour with a off white head that didnít last terribly long. The smell was incredible though. Nice roasty chocolatiness with a bit of milky sweetness and just a whisper of coffee. Taste was very similar: roasty dark chocolate, a dash of some coffee-creamer, and a very faint coffee tone, though that could just be the roastedness coming through again. Balanced and not too sweet, just the right bit of bitterness where it belongs. A straight up delicious milk stout that would be superb on nitro.
