3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Denver Beer poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of earthiness, toffee and lihght fruittiness. Palate was medium bodied anbd smooth. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and a hint of fruittiness with a smooth lingering earthy finish.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear dark copper in hue with a thin white ring of foam around the edge of the glass. Very interesting aroma of some sort of sticky fruit--like grapefruit or tangerine or canned peach--paired with an earthy malty caramel tone with a gentle nutty toffee ester. Taste was the same, in every good way. Nutty amber malts with some toffee and a light touch of caramel, with a sticky syrupy fruitiness that was kinda tropical, a little bit dryish hoppy finish with a dash of caramel. Stupendous amber.
