Dark ruby pour - fairly dry and nutty, with a moderate bitterness for the style - a bit of roastiness, hazelnut, light vanilla - a little bit of fruity, estery character - finish is moderately bitter, with lingering roast and a touch of chocolate - like a brown ale with lager yeast, but fairly good.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, bread, metal, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and bread, leading to a dry finish.

Clear dark brown with some ruby tones, with a very light thin head, doesn’t last too long. Big Dunkel aroma of chocolate, toasty biscuit, and a little nuttiness. Big flavor on a refreshing palate, and gently sweet all around. Starts chocolaty and nutty, blending into a tone of toast and faint raisin. The finish is just a little metallic, but it’s not enough to deter. Could have been called a brown ale with
