3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not an exceptional pale ale, but one that I was impressed to see at a ’typical looking’ brewpub. Cooper colored with a citrus hop aroma. Flavor is caramel sweet malt with more citrus hoppiness, enough hop flavor to keep you satisfied. Very well balanced beer.

Draft at Denver Chophouse. Amber bodied. Nose is hopped but is subtle. There’s some light caramel and sweet malts. Taste is caramel, sweet maltiness, light hops and some hop spiciness. Body is medium with a lingering bitterness. Ends with more caramel, hops and citrus fruits.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at brewery 9/29/06. Pours a clear amber with a thick white head. Aroma is primarily citrusy hops, but malt undertones are definitely there. Medium body. Flavor is a really good balance of hops and malt, with solid bitterness. Overall, flavorwise, a fantastic beer, taste great. Residual sweetness was just a tad too high though, detracting a little. Best beer they had on tap.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft pint at the brewpub: this pours with a beautiful amber sheen. And it drinks with a wonderfully balanced sweet maltiness and a nice citricly fruity hop kiss. Well done brew.

This is a very well balanced pale ale. NIce herbal pine needle hop aroma. This is definitely a sniffer and quite quite quaffable. Lots of fruity sweetness, along with some caramel maltiness. I very much enjoyed drinking this.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Served on draught @ the brewery. Attractive light orange color. Moderately aromatic but not pleasant, with a very grainy aromatic malt profile, light citrus, vinous (New Zealand white), along with a hint of apple. Vinous hints of again upontasting, New Zealand white, but not in a good way. Poorly extracted malts, which taste grainy along with a very light citrus kick. One of their better beers, but still pretty nasty.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is obviously a beer that had only been tried by those who know that this place exists. A great berr drinker’s beer. The bitterness of it compliments the aroma and clarity. It comes together in nice and perfect beverage that should definitely be consumed in a "BIG ASS GLASS" but only on those sepcific nights.
