COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopheads! Here you go! At 45 International bittering units, Cascade hops dominate our full-bodied Pale Ale. We use a touch of malted wheat and a dash of Carastan barley malt to fortify against the hop’s sharpness.

Crushed on tap at DIA. Pours a dark orange, almost brown with a sort of sticky head. Grainy aroma with a hint of floral and fruity hops. Flavor is a little bitter and hoppy. Smooth, just not very interesting.

Tap at DIA - 04/06/12. Golden amber with a thin white head. A little caramel, grainy malts and background hops. Taste as nose, a little hops and pine, not a lot. Medium bodied, average pale ale.

Sweet and hoppoy aroma. Poured a dark amber in color. Flavor was that of a typical amber, less hoppy than the aroma suggested. Notes: GABF ’09 visit

Amber/gold colour. Fruity, citrusy amarillo aroma is appetizing but only modeate in intensity. Bitterness is a bit light and the hops are citrus-accented. Maybe a little bit boring but functional.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a mostly clear golden hued body with a lasting, just off-white head. Aromas are floral, flowery, hoppy, citrus, cascade and nugget would be my guess. Some orange. Flavors are grainy, a bit sweet, caramel, citrus, estery. Medium bubbles and not particularly dry.

nearbeer (3048) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Draft at airport location. Orange gold with a lasting quarter-inch of creamy foam. Faint nose of caramel, florals and citrus. Faint taste of all that plus some toast. Near-medium body is tingly with medium carbonation and well-balanced. Tasted good with some spicy food, but didn’t stand up too well on its own.
