On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a mostly clear, bronze hued body with a small and fading tan head. Aromas are estery, sweet, a bit grainy, caramel, leather and bready. Flavors are malty, grainy, cereal and sweet, medium bubbles. Kind of bland.

Draft at the airport location. Clear brown with a lasting bead of creamy bubbles. Nose of caramel and light dry cocoa. Taste is caramel, cocoa, woody dry grass, and a touch of citrus. Medium body is tingly with acidity, smoothly carbonated, and has a dry finish.

On tap at the airport. Why not? Pours a brown color with a small white ehad. A aroma is dusty butter. The flavor is odd ripe fruits, buttery infection, some dry brown malts. Not good.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2011 Tasted on tap at Chophouse Brewery in Denver, Colorado. Dark, cloudy appearance. Weak aroma typical of a Dunkel. Nutty, malty flavor and just a bit sweet.
