Pailhead (4897) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - AUG 13, 2014
On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate citrus, honey, and a hint of grass. It’s a transparent gold with a one finger creamy white head that settles to a thick film. There are some solid laced rings left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of honey with a touch of bread. The finish has light citrus, faint lemon peel, and grass. It’s light bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

On draft at the Denver Airport restaurant. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aroma of biscuit. Flavors of caramel and a touch of lemon. Slight hop bite. Crisp finish.

notalush (4910) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 10, 2013
Tap at the DIA location - clear straw color - frothy, sticky lace - nose has a strong mineral bite and a nice honeyed maltiness, but the use of American hops also creates an odd citrus character I do not want in my Dortmunder - the same can be said of the flavor - moderate mineral, mildly sweet honey malt flavor, light toasted grain - but there is a strongly citric American hop flavor that makes this taste more like an American lager - a lot of lingering, undue bitterness in the finish - meh.

Tap at the brewpub, Denver Airport. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty malt. The flavour medium bitter with a malty liqourice hop bitter palate. Rather refreshing. Not bad at all.
