Pour is a hazed golden with an almost nonexistent head...smell is light and fruity with some apples and pears...toasty and sweet up front with a light grassy bitterness in the finish...why is this rated so low? Well done.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light orange colored body. The mild aroma was malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of Mount Hood hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

On tap at the Denver airport. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of straw and grass with a hint of slight sweetness. Flavor has straw throughout with a touch of grassiness that makes it quite drinkable.

On tap at Denver Chophouse poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, straw and spicy hops. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, sweet bread and spicy hops with a crisp clean finish.

Draft at the airport location. Clear golden-orange with a lasting ring of creamy bubbles. Mild nose of dry grass and caramel. Taste is toast, caramel, nutty dry grass and a hint of citrus. Light-medium body is dry with medium carbonation.

Slightly golden colour that is a bit dull. The aroma is quite malty and a bit crackery. On the palate, this is very malty, a bit sticky, with some pale bread notes and a hint of toast. Not bad for the style, actually. For once, it actually made me ask if I thought it really was a dortmunder. Most of the time in the US it isnt close at all. Cool.

Tap at the brewpub, Denver Airport. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty malt. The flavour medium bitter with a malty liqourice hop bitter palate. Rather refreshing. Not bad at all.

rederic (2883) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 23, 2008
On tap at the Denver location, bright golden color, with an off-white head, light floral hop, leafy citusy nose, with a grainy honeyed, caramelized malt accent and a faint buttery aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with sweet wet grainy toasty malt character with a fruity ripe apple note, with a flowery hop grassy, lemon peel citrusy, leading towards a sweet honeyish malt, lingering hop bitterness finish.
