Served on tap in a pint glass. Arrived a hazy straw yellow with a one finger white head. Aroma of bready grain and a little bit of fruit. Not a whole lot going on. A pleasant breadyness jumps out immediately in the flavor. There is just a small amount of caramel along with some fruity hops contributing a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. Overall this is a pretty average Kolsch but it quite tasty and incredibly smooth. A great thirst quencher or session beer.

I am rating this beer relative to its respective style (something people should try more often). It is probably the best kolsch style ale I have tried, including some that were had in Germany. The appearance is a nice golden hue with a nice white two finger head. I would recommend this beer to anyone who enjoys good microbrewed beer. 3.9

Draft sample at Knoxville Brewers Jam 2009. Poured a hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and leaves aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Deep yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Light paper and a hint of citrus hops. Paper, very light semi sweet malt. Aggressive carbonation and a tad thin, but a pretty nice beer to style.

Gold, with a loose white head. Bready toasty aroma Flavor is pretty much what the aroma suggests, with a bit nice fruity notes thrown in. Pretty tasty, actually. Sampled at Brewgrass 2009.

Solid yellow with a smooth creamy white foam. Aroma is lovely fruit. The taste is nicely malted, crisp fruit, a light sour finishing note. A great Kolsch.
