Bottle during RBWG 2014, thanks. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grass, but is mainly full of earthy grains and bread. Flavor is lots of earthy grain and bread with just a hint of grass hops.

bottle. mostly clear gold with a little sediment and almost no head. quite tart in the nose. clean for the most part with a graininess and grassy hop note. a hint of tartness. not sure if the tart is intentional but it actually adds a little character to an otherwise monotonous style of beer. i could drink a few.

Served on tap in a pint glass. Arrived a hazy straw yellow with a one finger white head. Aroma of bready grain and a little bit of fruit. Not a whole lot going on. A pleasant breadyness jumps out immediately in the flavor. There is just a small amount of caramel along with some fruity hops contributing a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. Overall this is a pretty average Kolsch but it quite tasty and incredibly smooth. A great thirst quencher or session beer.
