COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dry Irish style stout made with a touch of Rye Malt for a refreshing astringency which is easy on the palate.

bottle. small beige head. aroma has notes of licorice, molasses, tobacco with black barleys. intense roasted bitter flavors with a tart note. no real discernible hop notes. dry for sure. high carbonation.

It's described as astringent. A horrible word to describe your beer. If it's a sour beer declare that. But I don't know what this is. Very light tart. Not from rye. Especially in nose. Proclaim a sour and it won't seem a mistake. Large billowy head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a dark brown black color with a longlasting tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma with spicy rye hints. Roasted malty dry spicy caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour. Sweet aroma of roasted malt with chocolate and bread/rye. Thin like mouthfeel. Flavour is rather watery, has roasty malt, chocolate, dark fruit and bit acid in the finish. Ok but thin.

Bottle. Dark brown close to black with a large bubbly good lacing beige head. Aroma is cola, light roasted malt, rye, grain. coffee, light dark chocolate. Taste is light/medium sweet and light bitter. Light/medium body, oily/watery texture, soft carbonation. Light dry and bitter finish.

Bottle at Cootie Brown’s in Johnson City. The beer pours black with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of malt and dark chocolate. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, coffee and a bit of spicy rye. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
