The nutty, creamy, earthy ale is bronze color and has a crisp finish and is perhaps the first hemp beer east of Portland, OR.

On tap at wedge... Pours a turbid caramel toffee brown hue and topped with a thin creamy white head... Husk and grainy nose with coinciding teal herbalness and sweet dark grains... Flavors are mildy sweet, somewhat watery, with malty caramel and toasted grain. A modicum of earthy bitterness comes through late. Lacking in flavor somewhat as the aroma offered more nuances. Ok.

This poured a brown color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, herbal notes, and a bit of citrus. The flavor is both hoppy and malty with caramel and nutty flavor on one side and a citrus bite on the other. All hemp beers I’ve had are a little bit bitter, this is no exception. Overall a pretty good beer.

Pours brown from tap with an inch of white foam. Faint nuttiness on the nose. Some sweet maltiness on the tongue. Finishes has some hoppiness to it. Not bad.

Tap at wedge - pours a deep brown with a white head. Aroma is faint nutty funkiness. Taste is funky and a little bitter. Lingers for minutes with a nice creaminess. Very interesting!

Draft at brewer. Light brown with a thin white head. Scent is malts and nuts, so is the taste. Decent.

A pleasant surprise. Aroma is subtle but the taste is not. Tastes like a middle of the road Pale Ale with a nice bitter finish. Good beer

This is, according to the press, the first of its kind this side of the Mississippi--it’s a hemp ale! Yes, hemp! I don’t notice too much "grassy," though, but it’s a very nice tasting beer--creamy, a little nutty, with a great hop profile.
