Cask Stillage at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool 19/11/2004 Golden amber colour and hoppy. Slightly spicy dry finish.

Cask (handpump) @ The Five Lamps, 25 Duffield Road, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 3BH.

Clear medium orange amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light wood - licorice, light to moderate hoppy, licorice root. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111021]

Cask at Wellington, Birmingham. One of those light and gentle bitters that wash over your taste buds without really disturbing nor exciting them. Competent but undemanding.
